Privacy Policy — SURISIMS

Who we are

SURISIMS™ is a conversation-practice platform operated by Surge People Partners ("SURISIMS," "we," "us"). This policy explains what we collect when you use surisims.com and the SURISIMS practice application, and how we use it. Questions? Email natalie@readytosurge.com.

What we collect

Account information. Your name and email address when you sign up, join an organization, or claim an invitation.
Profile information. Optional details you provide before practicing — whether you manage people, your industry, role level, and the workplace challenge you're working on. We use this to tailor your simulations.
Simulation content. The text of your practice conversations and the feedback generated on them. When you speak during a simulation, your audio is transcribed to text by our speech-to-text provider and the audio is not retained by us — we keep the transcript.
Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number — we receive only your email, the plan purchased, and payment status.
Usage and device data. Pages visited, features used, browser type, and a device identifier we use to enforce free-tier limits and prevent abuse (provided by Fingerprint).

How we use it

To run your simulations and generate coaching feedback (conversation content is processed by our AI provider, Anthropic, and voice audio by ElevenLabs, solely to provide the service).
To manage your account, simulation balance, and organization membership.
To send transactional email — login links, receipts, and welcome messages (via Resend).
To understand product usage and improve SURISIMS (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity).
To measure advertising (Meta and LinkedIn pixels on our marketing pages).
To prevent fraud and enforce usage limits.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your practice conversations to train AI models.

Organizations

If you joined SURISIMS through your employer or another organization, that organization's administrator can see your name, email, and how many simulations you've used. They cannot see the content of your practice conversations or your feedback.

Sharing

We share data only with the service providers named above (Anthropic, ElevenLabs, Stripe, Resend, Supabase for data hosting, Vercel for application hosting, Fingerprint, Google, Microsoft, Meta, LinkedIn), each of which processes it on our behalf to run SURISIMS — and when required by law.

Retention & your choices

We keep your account data while your account is active. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time by emailing natalie@readytosurge.com— we'll complete deletion within 30 days. You can opt out of analytics cookies via your browser settings.

Children

SURISIMS is a workplace tool and is not intended for anyone under 16.

Changes

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the effective date above and, for significant changes, notify you by email.
