Terms of Service

Effective July 2, 2026

1. The service

SURISIMS™, operated by Surge People Partners ("we," "us"), provides AI-powered practice simulations for workplace conversations. By using surisims.com or the SURISIMS application, you agree to these terms.

2. Practice, not advice

SURISIMS is a training tool. Simulations and feedback are generated by AI and are for practice and skill-building only — they are not legal, HR, medical, or professional advice, and they do not create any advisor relationship. Real workplace decisions (terminations, investigations, accommodations, and the like) should always involve qualified professionals.

3. Your account

You must provide accurate information and be at least 16. You're responsible for activity under your account. Free-tier limits are enforced per person — circumventing them (multiple accounts, automated access) may result in suspension.

4. Purchases & refunds

  • Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are shown at checkout.
  • Simulation packs expire on the date shown at purchase; subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled.
  • Founding Member pricing is locked in for as long as your subscription remains active.
  • You can cancel a subscription anytime; access continues through the paid period.
  • If something went wrong with a purchase, email us within 14 days and we'll make it right.

5. Organization plans

Organization purchasers receive a shared simulation balance their team draws from. The purchaser designates who may join (by email domain or invitation). Organization administrators can see members' usage counts but not conversation content.

6. Acceptable use

Don't use SURISIMS to:

  • violate any law or anyone's rights;
  • attempt to extract, scrape, or reverse-engineer the service or its AI systems;
  • access the service by automated means or share accounts to evade limits;
  • generate content that is harassing, discriminatory, or abusive.

7. Content & ownership

You own what you say in your simulations. We own the SURISIMS platform, branding, and simulation designs. You give us a limited license to process your conversation content to provide the service (including processing by our AI providers). We don't use your conversations to train AI models.

8. Disclaimers & liability

SURISIMS is provided "as is." AI-generated content can be imperfect. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

9. Termination

You can stop using SURISIMS anytime and request account deletion. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms, with refund of any unused paid balance unless the violation was willful abuse.

10. General

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, USA. If we materially change them, we'll update the date above and notify active subscribers by email. Contact: natalie@readytosurge.com.
